Learning Journey
New Work Mindset
The “New Work Mindset” learning journey helps professionals and managers develop their personal mindset—and, by extension, their day-to-day communication and ability to take action—in line with the “New Work” philosophy. The modern workplace offers more scope (and demands) for individuality, expertise, and creativity. At the same time, it also requires greater personal responsibility, cooperation, and conflict resolution skills. This inevitably means that new leadership and organizational cultures are becoming increasingly important.
All these aspects require a framework of structures, technologies, and processes—and they must be embedded at the personal level of specialists and managers. To this end, the “New Work Mindset Learning Journey” offers a specific perspective on the conditions of the modern workplace and trains participants in practical application within the day-to-day business environment. In doing so, it addresses key aspects of a transformed workplace.
The New Work Mindset Learning Journey focuses on 11 key topics that, on the one hand, enable participants to assess their current standing and, on the other hand, help them increasingly better master the challenges of the modern workplace in their daily lives. Ultimately, they encourage the development of a “growth mindset.”
What does the learning journey include?
In the New Work Mindset learning journey, we cover the following topics:

Procedure
The learning journey is designed for small groups (hereinafter referred to as “Circles”) of four to six people who ideally meet weekly for 1.5 to 2 hours (in person or virtually) to tackle the tasks together. Of course, multiple Circles from a single team or company can be active simultaneously.
The detailed guide contains concise, sequential “learning nuggets” designed to foster a “New Work Mindset.” Following an introduction by a licensed learning journey facilitator, participants work in small, self-organized “Circles” to navigate the guide and the theme wheel (see above).
The effectiveness for everyday actions arises from the systematic linking of impulse-exercise-transfer-feedback, repeated over several weeks. The learning journey guides support implementation with weekly motivational emails and interactively designed touchpoints. Furthermore, the group dynamics of the circles foster a sense of commitment, provide valuable networking benefits, and enable the all-important person-to-person feedback.

A look at the Learning Guide
A detailed Circle Guide is provided for the entire learning journey, guiding participants step by step through the learning nuggets with input, exercises, application tasks, and feedback. Each unit of the learning journey also includes an application task, ensuring that participants’ daily work is always taken into account.
